Our Acquisitions Manager David Casera attended the Key Energy expo in Rimini this week where he met our biogas plant development partners BTS Biogas. Having built over 200 operational biogas plants in the last 10 years all over Europe and further afield, BTS is considered something of a pioneer in the field of anaerobic digestion plant design and construction.BTS’s origins are in the South Tyrol area of Italy but there are offices in the most important markets for them including in the UK at Leeds, which is convenient for our biogas projects in the Humber area.Key Energy is described as the expo for green energy, presenting energy-efficiency solutions and renewable energy technologies and applications. It ran at the same time as Ecomondo, which brings together all sectors of the circular economy in a single platform from material and energy recovery to sustainable development.Italy is top of the class when it comes to energy efficiency, waste recycling and resource productivity.
