In 2010, Solar 21 acquired an Italian solar plant which grew to a commercial-sized solar portfolio within 2 years. The plants benefit from Italian government incentives. Since then, Solar power has reached an important tipping point. Today, it is  cheaper to produce power using solar technology than fossil fuels.  We knew then that these  technologies would one day be mainstream and we're proud to have made our first steps in the  renewable energy sector more than a decade ago.
