Silvia looks after the financial and technical optimisation of Solar 21’s solar portfolio with a view to maximising productivity. On a day-to-day basis, this involves monitoring and analysing production data from the solar farms and managing our O&M (operations and maintenance) partners on the ground. Silvia plays a big part in the technical analysis of possible investment opportunities and projects in development, supporting the acquisition team with technical know-how. She is heavily involved in carrying out pre-development analysis and due diligence for new projects such as the proposed anaerobic digestion and energy-from-waste plants and was instrumental in the development of Tansterne Biomass. Silvia, who is from Lovere in Northern Italy, has an honours degree in Energy Engineering from the University of Padua. Last year, she achieved the highest mark in her year for her Master’s in Energy Management from DIT.
