Since 2014, Solar 21 has sponsored the jerseys of the senior team at Portmarnock AFC, a completely amateur soccer club. The senior team has achieved three consecutive promotions and is now in the top division of the FAI Leinster Senior League in which League of Ireland and non-League teams play.
