Government-backed Revenue Stream

Solar 21 is fundamentally structured around government supports for renewable energy generation called Feed in Tariffs (read more about Feed in Tariffs here). Feed-in Tariffs were introduced for the purpose of encouraging the development of renewable energy sources in Europe and beyond. The tariffs are typically guaranteed for a period of 20 years.

The system of Feed-in Tariffs ensures a minimum guaranteed price for the electricity produced together with a guarantee that all of the energy produced will be purchased by the grid, thus providing a reliable, predictable and stable income stream. In this way, renewable energy is unaffected by market volatility, unlike traditional investment classes.
